The An American Nightmare Project is doing a Mississippi Project, for as William Faulkner is alleged to have said, "to understand the world, you have to understand a place like Mississippi." The Mississippi Project is going to explore the intersections of race, class, and gender oppression in Mississippi and what Black working people are doing to resist the reactionary onslaughts of white supremacy, capitalism, imperialism, patriarchy and heterosexism.
