Weak Spots of Neoliberalism, Before and After Chokwe Lumumba





One hundred leaders of the left from North America and Europe gathered August 1-4 in upstate New York for "Mapping Socialist Strategies" (organized by RLS-NYC). In this panel, Kali Akuno (Cooperation Jackson) talks about the emergence Chowke Lumumba mayoral campaign, the late radical Mayor of Jackson, Mississippi. Elandria Williams (Highlander Research and Education Center) discusses the history and geography that has given shape to new movements in the South for economic and political power.
